Serving at Mission Marshall – Volunteer Opportunity
What is Mission Marshall?
For more than three years, Cypress Valley Bible Church has partnered with Mission Marshall (2109 S. Washington Ave., Marshall, TX), a faith-based ministry dedicated to strengthening families in our community through food assistance and holistic support.
Partnering with the East Texas Food Bank, they provide groceries, fresh produce, meat, and other essentials to those facing hunger—while sharing the love of Christ in practical, compassionate ways.
When Do We Serve?
Our church volunteer team serves twice a month, typically on a Tuesday or Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

The schedule is flexible to fit your availability:

Morning shift: 9:30 AM – noon

Afternoon shift: noon – 2:00 PM

How Do Volunteers Serve?

Who Can Serve?
This is an open invitation to anyone in our church family—or friends—who feels called to serve.
No special experience is needed—just bring a smile and a willingness to encourage others. Tasks are generally straightforward and welcoming to a range of ages, though some involve light lifting or standing.
Why It Matters
It’s a powerful way to live out Jesus’ command to love our neighbors, make a tangible difference in East Texas, and see lives impacted through simple acts of kindness.
You’ll also enjoy serving side-by-side with brothers and sisters from Cypress Valley and other local churches, forging friendships and growing together as you work. Many find it refreshing and fulfilling—serving people directly while being part of a supportive team.
