Thinking Like a Servant (Part III)
Day 34 – August 26th
Last week we began talking about a steward.
Can anyone remember what a steward is? What is the definition?
It’s good to remember that nothing really belongs to us – it’s simply on loan to us from God. It’s all His! And one day at the Judgment Seat of Christ, each of us will give account of how we managed what He entrusted to us.
How do you feel about the meeting you’ll have with God?
Thinking Like a Servant (Part II)
Day 34 – August 19th
Jesus talked more about money than He did about heaven and hell combined. Take a moment…now let that sink in.
Why do you think Jesus spent so much time on the subject of money?
Last week we started talking about how servants think. Believers who understand their true role – that of a servant - are people who realize how much God loves and values our service to Him. That’s why we’ve spent so much time trying to put into practice what the Bible teaches on this subject.
Thinking Like a Servant
Day 34 – August 12
But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land where he went and his descendents shall inherit it.
Numbers 14:24
Service starts in your mind. To be a servant requires a mental shift, a change in your attitudes. God is always more interested in why we do something than in what we do. Real servants serve God with a mindset of five attitudes
1. Servants think more about others than about themselves.
