Our Missions

Jesus said: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations . . .”

We take this commission seriously. Therefore, we are seeking to reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ world-wide, through praying, giving, and sending. To accomplish this, we support the following projects and missionaries:

		Pedro & Elizabeth Gutierrez Pedro serves as a pastor and evangelist in the Dallas area where he and Elizabeth are involved in reaching out to the Hispanic community.
		Portion For Orphans Portion for Orphans is a non-profit organization that seeks to raise public awareness about orphans worldwide, improve the quality of care provided to orphans, and promote their physical and spiritual development. Portion for Orphans was founded and is directed by Sally Allred Lockett.
		Ed & Coralee Murray Ed & Coralee have served with Campus Crusade for Christ since Ed's graduation from Dallas Seminary in 1973. From 1973-1993, they served in Austria and behind the iron curtain primarily in East Germany. Ed is now the head of the ministry of Campus Crusade in the country of Moldova.
		John Goodding & Amy Paige John & Amy have recently teamed up to form a new ministry focused on helping ministries get the message of God's grace to as many people as possible through the production of print and electronic media.
		Bob & Sharon Wilkin Bob is the Founder (1986) and Executive Director of Grace Evangelical Society (GES). The purpose of GES is to promote the message of God's Free Grace both in terms of evangelism and discipleship, while keep those two messages distinct. This goal is accomplished via newsletters, journals, books, booklets, conferences, speaking engagements, website, and personal correspondence.
		Campus Crusade for Christ in Moldova (New Life Moldova) Many of our church family have adopted New Life Moldova staff and are supporting them on a monthly basis. We also send a team each year to do Bible training of the staff. Each summer we send a team to lead an evangelistic English camp to reach Moldovan university students with the Gospel.
		God's Design Church in Moldova Our church is supporting God's Design financially in 2008 and through Bible teaching conferences for their staff and leaders. Many people are becoming a part of God's Design Church through their focus on youth, young families and small groups. And what's more important, they are becoming a part of God's family!
		Elizabeth Miles Elizabeth serves with Campus Crusade for Christ's humanitarian arm, Global Aid Network (GAiN). GAiN is a compassion-driven, Great Commission-focused ministry. GAiN seeks to show Christ's love to 'the least of these' around the world by providing gifts of aid to meet some of their basic care needs. Elizabeth is on the communications team for GAiN based in Dallas, TX.

Harrison County Food Bank

We give and supply serving help to Harrison County Food Bank, which meets the physical needs of those in our local area through food distribution.

Living Alternatives

We provide financial support to Living Alternatives, which ministers to young women in our local area through crisis pregnancy counseling.

AERO

AERO consists of short-term mission trips by some of our people to share the gospel in Albania and Eastern Europe. Individuals at Cypress Valley provide financial and prayer support for those who go.
