Saved From What? Have you ever said something to a friend only to discover later that while he heard what you said he missed your meaning? This often happens when we read the Bible. How easy is it to bring a meaning to a Bible passage that was not what the writer had in mind. When we do that, we have missed the mind of God and are in danger of following the enemy of our souls. To protect ourselves from that danger we need to study the meaning of words and how they are used in their contexts. And this is especially true of the word salvation.

To Be Or Not To Be? A Christian’s Choice! When it comes to dating, God has given the believer, freedom to be or not to be in a relationship. However, God does have one stipulation for dating, and that condition involves being equally yoked. 1 Corinthians 6:14 “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”  What would “unequally yoked” look like, and why should it be important to a single Christian?

Why Would Anyone Be Single? What do we learn about being single from the below Text? Some may be single by circumstance and some may be single by choice. Matthew 19:11 “Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage because of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it (NIV)." What does the Bible say about being single?
